This week’s show is with Tania Elfersy. Tania is an award-winning author and publisher who has spent several years researching what causes and cures the emotional and physical symptoms associated with perimenopause and menopause. By weaving her knowledge of midlife women’s health with the principles of innate health, Tania successfully cured her own range of symptoms, 100% naturally.
I’d love to know what YOU think about this week’s show. Let’s carry on the conversation… please leave a comment below.
What you’ll learn from this episode:
- For many women, the perimenopause starts in their 40s and can last ten years up to the menopause – this is contrary to the way our culture typically holds menopause as a one-off, almost cataclysmic event. The design is for this change to be slow and gentle giving us an opportunity to go inwards, get to know ourselves more deeply and what brings us joy, and adjust to the change this time will bring.
- The more we’re aware of this special time of sensitivity, the more we can honour and maximise its gifts of intuition, a stronger connection to the body, and heightened physical reactions to the things that don’t serve us, whether that be relationships, food choices, lifestyle or the chemicals we’re immersing ourselves in.
- When we’re more in tune with our bodies, it seems as though our bodies need to shout less via the means of symptoms, this is reflected in the work Tania is doing with women and in cultures who live in ways that are more in alignment with the ways of living that we’ve evolved for. That doesn’t mean we have to completely change our lives, it can be about finding ways to get more in touch with your wild nature and the gifts of your cycles.
